| Students are limited to 5 units per quarter and 30 units total in all 98/99/198/199/199AA-ZZ courses combined. Although approval of the GPS chair or associate chair is required, faculty from different departments can supervise the work and assign the final grade. No more than 4 units can be used to fulfill the GPS certificate requirement. Students engage in supervised research on peace and conflict issues. Topics include: violence, problems of war, injustice, poverty, ecological deterioration, and the various dimensions of conflict. |
